I find it interesting that the focus in on the drive shaft while the motor is started and running. I assume that they’re using a pusher magnet outside of sight.

I believe the pusher magnets are built into the enclosure that they tighten onto the 'axel' to increase the speed.

This is very cool, but can someone explain to me why this isn't a perpetual motion machine? Obviously you need to expend energy to do work (1st law of thermodynamics), so where's the energy coming from?

If the answer is 'from the magnets, dumbass', then surely they can't be permanent magnets?

There hasn’t been a peer reviewed magnetic motor yet created in which the magnets did not degauss. All magnet motors are perpetual motion machines and therefore bullshit.
