Beyond that, the subtext is hi-larious. If you read between the lines with most ultra-conservative brown shirt 'pundits,' every time they say 'Liberals are elitist because they think they are superior to the REAL American, the SALT OF THE EARTH, the BEST Americans!' they are really being everything that they supposedly detest in 'liberals': namely, elitist and pseudo-superior.
