'I spent one night at the Cleveland Airport at the recommendation of the woman helping make my flight reservations. She assured me that I could stay in the terminal and would be completely safe. Which was true until 1:30 AM when the cleaning began. I had made myself a cozy little niche in the Continental area, and then they came along and asked me to go out beyond the gate. I complied, though reluctantly because I wasn't sure where that would leave me. So as I'm hauling my stuff down to the end this guy on a people-mover drives by and asks what's up. I explained my situation and ended up with a place to stay for the night. He was perfectly polite - I slept on the pull-out couch in his living room with real sheets and everything! - and he took me back to work with him in the morning and made sure I made my early flight. Going home with a perfect stranger probably was not the smartest thing, but I ended up safe and it sure makes a great story!'
