What I don't understand is, given the failure of AOL to dominate the ISP market, why would other businesses, SBC, etc, think this is a good business idea? In terms of filtering the internet, AOL was doing it for years, before there was an internet, really. I don't know if they still do it. It's possible the ISPs will offer internet filtering to parents as protection from music sharing or what-have-you, but I can't see it being very popular with heavy internet users. There's some statistic, torrenting is 35% of internet traffic?
