What's amazing is that this is true dialogue, something that never happens anymore. Just one man explaining his situation and view and another man listening thoughtfully. There's no sense of partisanism, venom, or a feeling that the decision has already been made. There's no feeling that money and outside special interests are influencing anything. It's just so sad that our government has lost this kind of civility. I don't see it coming back either.
I guess I missed that kooky old fuck more than I knew.
