Personally, I think that the post of SecDef should have significant prior military service as a prerequisite. Preferably combat experience. I think in most cases, this would cause pause before making decisions to deploy troops on flimsy (at best) evidence. | | | |

However, I still believe that we invaded Iraq on falsey or made up intelligence, and that because of it we are being fucked in the ass. Don't get me wrong, all of you guys who were or are over there have my support to the end, but the Bush administration is fucking our country to hell.
