Meanwhile, the kids were just obeying the law (and putting their lives in danger.) My understanding in most jurisdictions is that there is a 'flow' speed (my term). So the cops aren't going to pull anyone over if everyone is doing 65. Just don't be the one going 70.

My understanding is that it's more dangerous to go far below the speed limit than to far exceed it. I think this is pretty funny and a good idea, really. People go apeshit when other drivers are obeying the speed limit.

I've been on 285 doing a solid 85, and losing ground to most of the traffic.

I change lanes randomly. It doesn't matter how fast you go, cause everyone avoids you.

This was an interesting bit. I'd love to see this attempted around Philadelphia. There is a point where I-476 South (the Blue Route) merges with I-95 South. You'd best be doing 85 at least coming off the offramp if you have any hope of merging.

I live in Houston. This experiment would be impossible as traffic generally moves about 20 mph.

Living in LA, I've come to find that it doesnt matter how fast the traffics going, I just need to be passing people to be happy. When I'm stuck in the lane behind the moron who's out of gas and won't move to the side, thats when I get pissed.
