Many years ago ( about 1986 ), I taught an Atari computer ( C64 Type of thing- all keyboard and tape player, no box ) how to play single-zero roulette. This was just a simple random number generator and instructions on payouts, written in Basic. It could only play the one bet, which I think was to cover number 8 with ALL the side bets, ie #8 to the max. All chips were worth $5. Then I told it to keep playing, and to keep count of how many spins it played.
Working on 30 spins of the wheel per hour, I played roulette 24/7 for several years, and bet several million dollars in the process.
I lost.
About 55% of my investment.
I do not gamble.
