The problem with the case is that the Australian federal police were tipped off before any of the people left the country. Many aussies see this as setting them up for a firing squad. I don't have much sympathy for any of them as I hate Junkies and pushers. Also there are HUGE signs at the airport telling travellers that there is a death peanalty for drug offences. Therefore I put the two on death row up for the Darwin awards- (dumb greedy fucktards) -Renee Laurence had actually done a successful run some months earlier and should have stopped then.

It probably is setting them up for participation in the I ndonesian Armies target practice, as the target, but I can see where the AFP is coming from here. If they had let them get back here, these people would have got a couple of years inside, then been back on the streets setting up another run. This way, at least we know they won't be doing it again, regardless of whether they got a 'long' life sentence, or a 'short' one. In Indonesia, life in jail is life in jail, they only get out feet first.
