Fact: Human contributions to the phenominon by way of greenhouse gas emmisions are real.
Fact: The net long term effect of global warming will be negative for the biosphere and food chain humans depend on.
Fact: The best way to mitigate the problem is by regulating emmisions, globally.
Fact: Bush declined to ratify the protocol because he needed a healthy domestic platform for reelection, even if it meant screwing humanity and the biosphere as a whole.
BONUS FACT:
The majority of humanity is not American and currently this majority have a reduced desire to buy American products. (Go check you trade defecit.) This pattern will likely continue until the American administration learns to respect the opinions of a democratic majority of humanity as represented by the majority of democraticly elected governments (such as those backing Kyoto).
