We have the same sort of problems here. I lost a good mate to diabetes a few years ago.

It really pisses me off that you guys will spend years testing a new treatment for something, find that it works ( well ), and release it for use, THEN OUR LOT WILL SPEND ANOTHE FIVE YEARS TALKING ABOUT IT, SEVEN MORE YEARS REPRODUCING YOUR TESTS, AND TWO MORE YEARS TALKING ABOUT THE RESULTS BEFORE THEY WILL LET US HAVE IT.

There really needs to be an international protocol for drug testing and approval.

An international protocol would be almost impossible without establishing a worldwide standard of medical procedure. there are food, medicine, temperature, and a host of other contraindications involved in protocol testing.
