Even? Conservation is the name of their game. The first line of TU's mission statement:
'Trout Unlimiteds mission is to conserve, protect and restore North Americas trout and salmon fisheries and their watersheds.'
20-30 years ago you'd have found TU and DU's ranks filled to the brim with staunch republican sports. Now they're (TU anyway) considered by many bloviates to be tree-hugging threats to democracy.

Here we have the tree huggers yelling about the hunting on the Bay, while just inland the ranchers have private, baited ponds that they hunt. With a little more awareness on both sides, the Game wardens could focus on the real problems, like indiscriminate poaching and sport wounding of non-game animals.
