Conspiracy I say. If what they are talking about is Echelon, from what I have read about it's supposed existince it would be near impossible for them to not pick up US commos if it even approaches the capacity it's critics claim it to have. Scary? Yes. If it was against the law and has existed as long as it supposedly has why was it allowed in the first place? Because absolute power corrupts absolutely and in this new age information is power and a system like Echelon when applied properly is pure information.

Almost no one is reporting this, or talking about it.
The media, especially American media, seem impotent in reporting what the white house does.
And there doesn't seem to be an overwhelming demand for it.
There's a pervasive 'proud to be ignorant' mentality afoot.
And it's not to slag America, this is happening all over.

All of those who speak out against the government will get theirs in the end. :) I'm quite happy with my existence here. I have everything I need to survive and the 'big picture' isn't bothering me at all. I couldn't give two fucks what the government is doing. It's not hindering my life in the least.
