The furor over nuke plants is devolved from the Three Mile Island and Chernobyl incidents. What the enviromentalist groups choose to ignore is that Chernobyl was built using technolgy/engineering that was ancient in terms to what the U.S. was using and the technolgy has improved considerably sicne the last time a nuke plant was built in the U.S.

God help me for saying it, but even the French are building and using better nuke plants then we are. The dialogue is all about AWAR when it comes to this countries energy problems when it should be about addressing rampant NIMBY. A porn shop, ehh.. A massage parlor, heh.. A sex offender, I don't have kids.. A nuke plant? No fucking way, that's dangerous.
