I consider this bad, or at least not-exciting news, for these two reasons:

1) We already knew Pennsylvanians had some sense when they voted out the school board officials who wanted ID. I want to see this happening in the flatlands, where they need it.

2) Now ID is being banned -- which will only give this bullshit religious-persecution angle of the Christians actual substance for the first time ever. Don't ban it. Just don't allow anyone to make it mandatory. Then let teachers and students and parents -- the actual relevant parties -- fight it out like normal.

...with pistols and rapiers.

I like how the people backing ID denied that they were trying to push religion, then Pat Robertson pipes up and says the people that voted against it 'voted god out of their city.'

Also, anyone fucking stupid enough to believe that there's an invisible man in the sky watching over them is not fit to get behind the wheel of a car.
