There are many quotes about how stupid Africa is and how they hold guns that way 'to look cool' because of 'hip hop' and how we should wipe out the country. Not so impractical and stupid, the 'gansta-style' stance focuses the recoil of the gun into your center mass, making a quick second shot more accurate. I've never heard that, and am doubtful of it. Even if it's true for handguns, assault rifles were never meant to be fired like that or 'from the hip' like Rambo is shown doing. Every gun magazine or other gun related publication I've ever read has ridiculed such stances because it's impossible to properly aim. All you're doing is 'spraying and praying'; i.e., wasting ammo.
