Anyone with a peanut allergy knows how absolutely serious this can be. Through my own carelessness, my son once ate ONE Reeses Pieces candy. Within a minute he broke out in hives, started gasping for breath and began vomiting. This is why we have an Epi Pen near at hand at all times. The doc at the ER said without it, he probably would have died within 10 minutes. I never want to see that kind of thing again.
