Animal Farm: Good.
Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret: Yes, I read it. Chickflick for 7-year-old females.
The Blind Assassin: Didn't read it, but Handmaiden's Tale was very good.
A Clockwork Orange: Good.
The Crying of Lot 49: Been meaning to read it. Got Mason & Dixon by him, read half, stopped out of boredom.
The Grapes of Wrath: Terrible. May be a good book, I dunno -- I hated the dustbowl sadness, like Meatwagon says.
The Great Gatsby: May be a good book, but I hated it anyway.
Infinite Jest: Mind-blowing but worth it. Took me many months. If you don't find yourself taking notes, you're not doing yourself any favors... or you're way smarter than me.
Invisible Man: Awesome.
The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe: Awesome. Sadly, unreadable now that I'm not 8 and the God metaphors are so heavyhanded.
Lord of the Flies: Good. Disturbing when Piggy's head opens up and white stuff comes out and turns pink.
The Lord of the Rings: Obvious.
Naked Lunch: Not his best work. What is his best work? I dunno.
Neuromancer: Obvious.
1984: Good. Disturbing.
Slaughterhouse-Five: Over-rated.
Snow Crash: Obvious.
The Sun Also Rises: 100% over-rated.
I started that list thinking most of the books in there were sort of over-rated, but I find now only two were and I liked a lot of them. This list is A-OK in my book.
LOL GET IT BOOK O WHAT DID I JUST DO
