It is good to see that the state is watching out for kids with ugly mothers, it will save the child years of embarrasment

This smacks of double jeopardy and possibly racism to me. The father did his time over twenty years ago, and they don't seem to have any proof of any offending by the mother, just rumours of drug use ( like that doesn't cover 90% of people her age ).

Ok, so you get caught at the tender age of 19 having a little nekkid fun with a hot 17 year old - wham! - you are nailed with rape and sodomy charges. 25 years later some right wing christian fanatic comes along and takes your kids because you 'are a sicko and can't be trusted'.
