He started putting out sucky unlistenable albums, as far as I can tell.

if I've heard anything past Angel Dust/California that I really wanted to listen to more than once or twice, I can't think of it now. Some of the Tomahawk stuff was ok.

Tomahawk opened for a Tool concert i went to a few years back.

It was the worse live performance I've ever been to. Besides the half dozen feedback loops that exploded my eardrums through their performance, and his horrible screaming lyrics, he also managed to drop the mic 2 or 3 times and fell on the drums while jumping around like a cracked out monkey.

However I do suppose Tool rocked even more because of it.

Mike Patton did some collaborations worth noting, like with Dan the Automator on 'Music to Make Love to Your Old Lady By.'

I also saw a Tool/Tomahawk show, it blew big hairy nuts and Tomahawk got heckled off stage with anything the audience could throw at them.

That sucks. I've heard about them getting booed off the stage by Tool fans. Makes no sense to me.

I saw a Tool show with Tomahawk as the opener. Listening to Tomahawk was worse than eating a razorblade and shit sandwich and then washing it down with the blood of Magic Johnson.
