if you are a band nowadays and you don't allow audio recording of your performances.. then you probably suck a fat babys dick live. why would you want to deny your hardcore fans the right to enjoy and spread your live sets.. it's not like they are doing it to hurt or harm the band in any way.. few people sell live bootlegs anymore, and people who pay for live bootlegs are fuckin stupid and deserve to lose their money.. the shit is free and easily available all over the internet.

Another Day, Robbie Williams in Concert (in TV)(the music doesnt annoy me, and he is an fantastic entertainer), anyway, Robbie Williams in concert, he saw a fan in the first row who recorded some tunes, took his phone, made an unique, personal, performance for him and gave it back.

Rolling Stones like behavior - dull and money mad, they made some good music, but i ever assumed that they only wanted the money.
They sung that they 'can get no satisfaction', sitting away in castles, thousands of miles away from their fans, stoned through first-class drugs.
Robbier Williams like behavior - the way it should be.

I agree with Unistyle, I've gone and paid my money to see so many bands just beacuse I got to listen to a live performance by them and was impressed. I'm talking about band outside the 'jambabd' genre as well, the Secret Machines are a great example. They put out a so/so album that might not get me out to buy a ticket, but after hearing a live performance via MP3 I went to their show and was blown away!
