I need some help here. I have been trying to figure out when the hell the extended edition is going to come out. I watched the version with the storyboard introduction feat. the rise and fall of the machines years and years ago and have long awaited something similar on DVD.

To me, the visual media just can't capture the written story (just like LOTR) - but the TV series was way better than the movie.

My trouble was having to interpret it for someone who hadn't read the book--while I was fuking watching it.

Alot was included in that movie--alot more than I expected--I just wishedthey hadn't fagged out on the 'weirding way' and that gay ass rainstorm at the end.

Just finished rereading Children of, and am about to re-embark on Messiah--read them.

^ Yeah read up to Messiah and stop, it gets really off topic from there on. It jumps like thousands of years into the future and it just gets really convoluted.

I have read the entire series, including the prequels and enjoyed them all. I bought both movies on DVD, the original Dune and the SCIFi versions. I understand where Loki is coming from, watching the movie with somone who does not know the story is like babysitting a five year old. What How What What How Come Why Why. Fuck em.........

To get the whole story though, start with Destination: Void. It is the first in a series which includes The Jesus Incident. Good read.
