50 years ago or so, i probably would have found myself firmly in the conservation-minded, ducks-unlimited-donating, fiscally conservative republican party, and i'd have been mostly ok with that. for a while now i've dealt with some discomfort at being slapped with the 'liberal' label for caring about things like conservation and oh, i dunno, fair elections. but now, given that the only apparent alternative in bushworld is to side with the likes of grover norquist and sneering little twitch pigs like rfawkes up there, i've decided to wear it proudly. thanks for drawing up the lines so neatly. not a tough choice at all. fuk you, clown shit.
one thing though, to you prigs who so reflexively and gleefully participate in the polarization of this country to advance your worthless and bankrupt party agenda, or simply to make yourself look cool and tough on the internet: when it's your turn up against the fuking wall and you're begging for a blindfold, you'll wish that the howling mob of freedom-hating liberals looked a lot more like joe lieberman and a lot less like me.
