Reasons 1 and 2 are why I don't recommend it for everyone and my grandmother.
Reasons 3, 4, and 5 are a mixture of ignorance and/or FUD.
(Technically, not actually sure about 5, because I've never seen a TCO report I could trust. I find it hard to believe that maintaining a Linux environment could be cheaper than a Windows one, even taking into account higher-paid (and more-skilled) employees to operate it.)
