Bleh. Toshiba owns alot of TIme Warner so WB is going HD-DVD. Pft. I want Blu Ray! THere all the advantages and it sounds cooler. I mean come on just say it to yourself 'Bloooo Raayyy'. Awesome.
BTW - Doesn't matter. Niether format will 'win' the medium that people use to view thier digital content, or store data, changes so fast that there's no way the tech/ent industries will keep up or make the decision for the genreal public. In like ten years some 13 year old kid will invent a way to store every bite of data from the whole entire universe in a crystal that grows in his belly button and we will all be his slave.
