i hate the fukin Rollink Stones.

i love the shit from 1967 or so, like 'She Comes In Colours'. i guess anything from before Mick started wearing hats and dancing like a chicken is fine with me.

^Old stones is still listenable. Good music doesn't come with a best before date.

Albums like Sticky Fingers, and Aftermath, are still in my roation, .....and why not. Haven't really loved anything in a long, long while though.

exile on main street is a classic,
i also love 'get yer ya yas out'
and then there are some songs here and there on other records.

but yes, their later stuff, isn't real inspired and way over produced.
keith has has some great solo work. check out ronnie doing 'seven days' at the dylan 30th anniversary concert.
many keep hoping that they will find a gem in a new re-lease but i dunno.

but live, is a different story. they are worth it. they are wonderful live.

i'm not saying that Teh Rollink Stones need to be lined up against a brick wall and gut shot 4 times each with a Ruger 10-22....wait a minute...yeah, i guess that's exactky what i'm saying.

X-Pensive Wino's by Keith was good, also liked Wyaman's Rythmn Kings stuff.
