Cold fusion will never be a primary source of energy. Or at least not in the near future. All of the reports of being able to create cold fusion are merely reports no one has ever been able to re create it. So circumstances to make it happen must be pretty hard to get exactly right or they were lying. Its like a mathmatic proof only with energy sources instead of laws. For an energy source to be viable it has to work every time.
