I've learned that if you want to boil beer, you should open it the day before, and let it go flat. Then your Cup'O'Noodles tastes just fine! Good for cooking rice too, but not pasta. You end up pouring it down the drain, and that's alchohol abuse!
The only problem with boiling beer is that the end result has no alchohol in it! Alchohol boils off at about 80 degrees centigrade, but the rest of the beer ( mainly water ) doesn't boil until it reaches 100 degrees.
