so let me get this straight. in Texas, a retarded dude can kill someone and get the chair (or needle or whatever) and THESE fucks could be eligible for parole after 30 years?

Look up some averages for jail times and you'll see that most sex offenders (non violence related) are let out after 4-10 years, sometimes even if it's rape. As much as I'd like to bash Texas, they're one of the strictest states out there when it comes to sex offenders and child welfare.
