Cracka - This powers of 10 demo is cool. I've been using it in my classes to demonstrate the power of subjective perspective to create what we typically call 'reality'. It's a pretty good total perspective vortex exercise. You can come out on the other end with more questions than answers.

What's really cool, to me, is that humans have really only been able to understand the depth of perspective since the development of telescopy and microscopy (relatively recently, historically speaking). Even more boggling is that the outlier slides (intergalactic and subatomic) have only come to our awareness as a species within my own lifetime, or thereabouts.

I'm waiting for someone to come along and connect the two ends, Oreborus-style. That would REALLY blow people's minds.

What isn't to say that our galaxy isn't just an electron cloud in a fly's eye in some other scale?

I've seen the loop concept on a Simson's opening, starting and ending with Homer's eyeball....
