You know how celebrities always bitch about fame? That was me before time travel. I was SO sick of all the paparatzi, the 24/7 hounding by beautiful women and the burden of ALL THAT MONEY!!!

SO...I went back in time and changed things so that I would be an electrician with ONE beautiful wife and paycheck to paycheck lifestyle..

Obviously these 'scientists' are wrong. How else could I have descended to this level with all this beauty and talent?

I would take that one step further. The series of probabilities that led to your father being born are practically infinite. If you could go back in time, you'd just find yourself in a pretty strange place, and most definitely a different history than what you knew of in the present. And no chance of running into anyone that you know.
