That was amazingly disgusting, but somehow very interesting. Its strange to think that we can find stuff like the taking of human life so entertaining. I suppose Reality tv, Jerry Springer, and Ricky Lake, are slowly degrading our moral fibre. I may be going on a bit, but it worries me that seeing something like this doesn't worry me anymore.

Prior to shooting himself, Dwyer read a scathing 20 page speech, refuting the pending charges against him, and denouncing his accusers. The envelopes he passed out contained the final page of that speech and a personal note urging his wife and his supporters to 'fight for a true justice system here in the United States.', and to 'Please make sure that the sacrifice of my life is not in vain.' The closing line of the note said, 'Goodbye to all of you on the count of three.'

And, as shweetbox has pointed out, it was the inspiration for the Filter song.

Google's results for 'Bud Dwyer' are terrible, mostly links to sites like this link right here who host the video just to go 'ewwww did you see all that blood??' There's precious little real information on the first two pages of results -- after which I got bored and OO OO SHINY!!
