This is exactly why the republicans keep getting elected. No matter how ridiculous the charge against them, they fire right back with this huge media assault. Attacking the character and credibility of the organization and it's heads. They don't take any shit from any body.
Remember when that swift boat veteran shit started popping up in the news? The Kerry campaing ignored it for weeks if not months. Until it finally built enough momentum that they had to react. And by then it was too little too late. They treat these minor little digs at them as though they're beneath them and not worthy of a response until the damage is done.
Not republicans though... They treat even the most minor slant like it their mothers were gang raped by athiest minorities.
I'm not saying one side is right or wrong in their approach. As a matter of fact, I very much prefer the democrats method of not attracting attention to nitwits. But, apparently the sisterfuckers in the heart land want a tough guy bully type that doesn't let a casual insult pass and burn out of it's own accord.
