i can't believe that the speech was written by Monty Python. I've heard it about 1000 times and didn't know. Being a mega-geek i thought i knew almost everything about Monty Python.

I'd like to see a lot more proof than a quick end-of-flash-movie credit that this was done by Python. It attributes the *audio* to Python, for one thing. I'd happily conjecture they wrote the copy, but who in the Python group has that voice? I suspect if that attribution is accurate, Monty Python is the public name of the guy doing the audio -- some American-media talking head who does some underground stuff under a pseudonym.

Terry Gilliam is American. He was born here and didn't become a British citizen until sometime after joining the troop. I always thought that was weird.

It's an old Monty Python bit and has been around for at least 20 years. It's been redone several times. Rumor has it that the voice on this version is Larry King.
This one has the coolest graphics I've seen.
