edv, it is not the one in the picture. i'm actually just doing research and contacting and going to go look at it soon (i hope). if not this beast then something else. i don't care too much about mechanicals; i'd just rather do as little body work as possible. i will definitely document the goings on.
I wish I had the financial means to hold on to my first car. It was a 9 year old '77 Firebird. I had done a lot of work on the engine and the body. Then a fukin drunk driver hit me while I was stopped at a light and ruined the front end. It wouldn't have been so bad but the pre-amp caught fire on the way to the tow yard and the inside was a total loss. I had to sell it for scrap to get money for another car. *sigh*
