IF you are holding a video camera when something like this happens, you assume a certain degree of responsibility for documenting what the fuck is going on. point it at something we can fucking see. don't swing it back and forth quickly. stop playing with the fucking zoom. focus on something relevent and stay on it. preferably in this case something with an easily identifiable bottom/middle/top height, some reference to how deep or how fast the water is.
