Ghost is right. Allof his stories follow the same sophomoric line, and yeah the bad guy is always some powerful good guy character revealed early on. Then there is a gunfight and usually a helicopter. The strength of his books is the non-fiction base he works it on, and it doesn't suprise me at all that he would plagiarize.
