Countries that encourage open disscussion of ideas and critisism of failing aspects of beaurocracy have trditionally florished to the point of complacent apathy, thus inviting dissent and lack of unity, eventually leading to the collapse of the system.

In other words, when I was young, I dropped acid and wandered the country playing music.Now that I'm Older and it's getting scarey, its time for you youngsters to buckle down and work so I can still collect back some of the thousands of dollars I've paid into the system.(no, I'm not serious)

But....

The Two things that will save our economy (and no other things will, unfortunately, except for a continued plan of foreign imperialism) are these:

First, make it Illegal for any person who is not a Citizen of the United Staes to own Land in the United States. Most other countries have land ownership restrictions of this nature. Why are we whoring off our Country?

Second, Stop all Credit. If you have a loan out, fine, pay it off like scheduled. But stop all new loans. Foreign developement will happen with or without our financial support. We don't need to be loaning Billions to tiny shit holes with no infrastructures. They don't pay us back. Likewise, If we as a nation were not paying 10-15 per cent of our incomes on interest of one form or another (car loans, mortgages, student loans, rent pays your landlord's interest), all prices will drop and all wages will rise.

' countries that have US owned land in them are likely to kick you the fuck out- well try at least. And if im not mistaken, the US owns land everywhere. All those walmart locations would be burned to the ground to demonstrate retailiation against US hypocrisy, as if there isnt enough of that already. Yes i am aware Canada is an ass-like hypocrit too.

The entire North American economy is based on credit, if people stopped borrowing the entire machine would grind to a halt. If people stopped borrowing to buy homes/cars/electronics, millions would be out of work. I believe that North Americans are addicted to 'easy' credit, and that is killing the economy, someone should pass legislation making 30% interest illegal.

Not that I really care, but how does this rate as one of the top two of your economic woes, If Americans wanted American land, they would buy it.

Do the math. Finish off existing loans. No new ones.

In North America, civilization is financially driven - whether by cash or credit. In almost every phase of our lives and in almost every area of society we depend upon the ability (or the perceived ability) to purchase outright with cash, to buy through extended credit, or to obtain by borrowing funds.
Credit also plays a large part in big business, companies with narrow margins borrow money to pay operating costs (payroll, overhead, etc.).

If nobody borrowed money, the banks would go out of business the, 'propped-up' dollar would collapse and bring the economy with it.

I would agree with you in theory if it was 'bad' consumer credit to which you are referring to.
