The point of religion and government entwinement was particularly relevant I thought, considering how dubbya considers his position ordained by God and views himself as the saviour of America - I believe a similar view of oneself was held by Hitler, whadya know - another similarity between 30s Germany and todays USA. Seriously though, it is often a great deal easier for people like you and me to have a clear picture of what is happening from the outside, than it is to see the picture from within. We can often see the whole thing ,whilst those who are closer can only see a small portion of it.

No - it means you put church indoctrination before the state and people - and that means you discriminate against those that the indoctrination discriminates against. Like all of those people who arn't part of your religion. A little man called Ossama Bin-Laden would also like his religion entwined with state political control. Proved time and time again that church and state should be kept apart but there seems to be people who just don’t learn. Still – fuckit – it’s your country, normally I wouldn’t care but you have a strangle hold over many other countries (freedom y’know) and keep dragging us brits into your lie-driven war, so for that reason I do care. Oh three of our guys got killed the other day cause good’old dubya wanted them in the triangle of death (I’m referring to the black-watch if you haven’t guessed) , I’m sure they’re the first of many.

All true religions require sacrifice, human or otherwise, to assert that we puny humans have no real control over our destiny and need to give of ourselves to keep the mighty deities from crushing us underfoot with storms & earthquakes.
