After another viewing of the trailor I realized that the zombie puts on a german helmet. I checked into it and sure enough, these are not Dutch soldier zombies (did Holland even have a real army during WWII?) coming back to get revenge on the germans, but german nazi zombies coming back to fuck some more shit up. Nazi zombies. Awesome.
This whole thing is set against a World Cup tournament. What cracks me up about Europeans and their soccer (futbol) obsession is this: German bombed the bejeezus out of your country in WWII, they obliterated entire towns, wiped out homes and communities, murdered and anhiliated thousands of people and persecuted and destroyed the lives of those who survived. But beat you in fancy foot sports decades later?? THAT'S THE LAST STRAW!!
If the good guys win at the end of this movie, it will be considerably difficult to believe the Dutch could be the ones to save the world. I'll still see the movie though. Zombies with swastikas, man.
