unfortunately i'm too young to appreciate any of this. my first computer was some ibm clone put together by my dad's friend in the late 80s...no cool looking crap for me :(

Atari 5200. Before that I was still using a slide rule.

I didn't even have a tape drive for mine, just a book of code (BASIC I think), I'd spend hours fukking beepbooping to make some shitty little cannon game, then my mom would unplug the thing leaving me in a fetal position shivering and crying in front of the TV, good times!

oh yeah, the good old Commodore 64 was my best fuckin' friend in the 80's (till i got Nintendo, anyway). I still have it, yes it still works, and I have like 300 games for it. RAWK

C64 was my second puter, Jumpman was the best game EVAR!

My first was a Vic 20 (pre-64 Commodore) with Lord Kahuna's code problem, except that my book of code had a line missing so that 3 hours of typing went down the drain because you would finish, type 'run' and watch an error message come up instead of shooting aliens.
