I need your guys' help. Tell me what sort of cell plans you have, who with, how much, how many minutes, etc.
I'm out of my contract with Sprint, and I need to buy a second phone so I can get the LBP on my plan. The Sprint coverage around here (central New York) is pretty decent, and I haven't had a ton of problems with them, but I'd move to a new carrier if they offered something better.
On the other hand, Sprint says they'll give me a $150 credit toward a new phone if I sign up for two more years, freeing me to give my LG5350 to the LBP and get a fatty phone in the process.
I called up and hinted at cancelling, and the chick didn't send me to the retention department, but she tried to sell me on a minor upgrade plan for the same I'm paying now.
I'll pay you nigers double for good stories about wringing extra shit out of the retention department, because I think that's sort of the sweet spot here.

Even though we are the same person Vas, you'll remeber my brother.
Due to the work he's involved in he meets many interesting people, one of whom used to be on the board for a large mobile carrier. During a recent upgrade of phone plans my bro's friend gave him alittle advice.
Do not call the help center as they are normally useless, located in india and can't approve free shit. Instead you need to get a hold of the national corporate office number and speak to them. Without dropping the name of his friend my bro was offered free phone upgrades.

At skool I use the "Hey ya waz up" plan, it is free and sometimes I can even score smokes when I am broke and out. At home I use two tin cans and some string. But most of the times I do not even bother to communicate with the ball and chain since he often only grunts.
I do not have a cell or a home phone... and life is just great for me!

These contracts were signed a couple of years ago. I checked on a new contract for my business, my daughter uses one phone and wants a camera phone, it was about $88.00.

I do not miss the phone the phone bills and the bull shit from telemarketers and bill collectors. Life is very good since I unplugged.

I have nextel and have gotten some "extras", but ...
A: the coverage in your area kinda sucks
and
B: when i was living in new york they werent really willing to give in to much.
Out here in the desert is a whole different game with them, and the people in the nextel stores are kinda user friendly. I walked into a store out here to upgrade and walked with 3 phones, they let me keep my old one which NEVER happened before and i snagged another one for nothing as i mentioned that i was looking for a particularmodel for someone. As far a service goes I have unlimites incomming, free nights and weekends with 500 minutes to use for peak they gave me the full web package for nothing which is usually $15 a month. Iits like 54.99 a month or something like that.

For multi-phone plans, I'd suggest Cingular. My family (sans me) does it and they reap the benefits of rollover mintues, nice phones, and pretty decent peak minutes. I, OTOH, have verizon which is the shittiest shit on earth - beware.
