LORDKAHUNA: I have yet to see any real discussion concerning Nader's platform, besides the "a vote for Nader, is a vote for Bush" arguement.
This is a huge flaw in your two party system, at what point do you (as a nation) break from convention and vote in the independant guy.
when we get an indie who isn't more of a crackpot than the Dem or Repub
i.e Ross Perot, Ron Paul, Nader, etc.

That's exactly the problem.
Although I do like some of Naders ideas. And I would vote for the libertarian if they had enough sense to change their strategy.

People seem to have this idea that Nader's a crack pot, which I think is largely a media construction. I mean he is insofar that he keeps on running, which at this point even his own base will hate him for fucking up the election again, but the man is very VERY fucking smart. He knows his shit through and through and has well reasoned out positions that have been unchanging for maybe 20 years. The problem is he is about as charasmatic as mister Joecc.
