I have installed this update three times on my home PC with no luck. First time I got a message stating winsvr missing. The next two my USB ports were inop.
I installed it on my office PC and it would keep rebooting. I had to take it to teh PC repair shop, coundn't find teh restore disc. $75.00 repair.
Is it my shit thats bad or has it fuked up your PC to?

The ball and chain told me to hold off on this update/download and instead has ordered the free disk for the download. He had heard from his grapevine of freeware eggsheads that it was a bad update... but that is all I know right now. I have not installed it yet. So no, it is NOT ewe, it is more Microflacid bullshit.

installed on my laptop no problem.
already heard from several friends that it blew up their systems.
I have no doubt that any pirated version of XP will not allow the upgrade, or maybe it will, and will fuck up. Which is probably why so many of you 31337 h4x0rz are having trouble

My pirated version of XP Corp is working fine and dandy. Of course, you have to modify the tcpip.sys file if you still want to max out your fat pipes.
For some reason, microsoft thinks that having 10 TCP connections to your computer is more than enough. Apparently, they arent familiar with BitTorrent.

all my windows machines are fine after the SP update. I think it senses the L337 and gives them a challenge.

I've heard that SP2 fucks up teh pirated XP. Mine are factory store bought units. Micro$oft has a program to delay teh auto update for one hundred and twenty days or so. I installed this on my home PC,and turned off auto update on my office PC.

spyware on your machine can interfere with sp2 installation so make sure you run spybot before attempting. you should also disable the on-access scanning of your anti-virus software, and turn off any 3rd-party software firewall, y0

Sp2 worked fine on my machine running XP Home but it seriously up- fucked the wifes XP- Pro box. The kids Xp Home boxes were ok as well.
Microsoft told the trouble and strife that custom- built boxes and P4 3.2 's were a problem source and that the best way was to download from the administrators area direct to CD (must have a burner of course ) and then load from the cd . This is for Xp Pro which is where they said the real problems were happening. Our Xp Home machines ( P4 2.8's ) didn't have any problems.

I tried teh burning it to disc method but not turning off all programs. I had forgotten that I had teh hard drive replaced on one and had teh hard drive erased on teh other. I noticed windows booted up different after that. Maybe a possible problem with teh repair shops version of windows .

around here they're saying that all reports of tests occuring here are showing a 1 in 10 sucess rate... so we're still holding off on pushing it out to the hospital network |

Screw teh neighbors, letum buy their own PC.
I have been using my backup PC with Windows ME. It sold and not as fast but I have no problems with it or updates
