How can this site be made more user freindly?
Is it possible to have a" return to top of the page " button at the bottom of each forum?
Can a "post comment" icon be placed at the bottom of the comments page?
Could a " go to end of page " button be put at the top of tha page?
I ask this because I am sure I am not the only one who hates having to scroll all the way back to the top of a long entry to post a comment or to return home from a forum.

Man, I'll tell you how this fucking site can be improved: Duels.
Instead of textwar, challenge someone you hate, like me, to an armed duel. Standard rules apply; the person challenged gets to choose the weapon(s) that are used, etc.

Dstaff: I'm a little confused, because if you're talking about the comments page for each link, there already IS a "submit comment" button -- it's the one you hit after you've typed in your comment. As for a "return to top" link, that's not a bad idea.
GDR: If you submit a link, you're told how many links are before yours in the queue. I could add that number somewhere on the front page for everyone to see... but I've actually been thinking the figures that are up there now are a little superfluous. Like, do you guys actually care how many reads the front page has combined, or how many reads total there are?

Yeah, that's what I meant.
That would be helpful. That way you could decide whether posting something time sensitive is worth your effort. Many a time, I've posted a news story that was relevent say, Monday, only to not see the link appear until Thursday. If I could see immediately on the front page that there's no way in hell this things getting posted for a day or too, I could say fuk it.
And then go post it at Fark.

Vas, That icon that looks like a modified file icon from Mr Gates that appears just below the link description on each comments page ( ie the link to the page you type yyour comment on ) is the one that I think should be below the comments rather than above.

Or just message me and let me know. The time-sensitive tickbox makes your link float right to the top of the queue, so it's the first thing I see when I load that page.
Every so often, an asshat or a newbie will misuse it, but I never ignore it. Chances are if the link doesn't come through next time I look at the queue, it's because I'm on vacation or something and nothing's happening in the queue anyhow.
And stay away from shocking my nuts please.

I want to know what the 3 little blue squares are below the "L" of the linkswarm.com logo (at the top of every page).
I think they have some sinister purpose - I think they may be mind control as if I haven't seen them for a while I have to reload Linkswarm just to make sure they are still there.
Or am I the only one who can see them - they may be Fnords!

The squares are indeed Fnords. So few people can recognize a metasyntactic variable these days. Of course blue fnords are quite rare.
