Even though Cube was a fukass and missed my party like a little biatch, I'm going to help out his endeavor by tossing in a free Alpha account for 6 months to whoever buys this totally ocelot laptop.

I say I trade Cube my Dell Poweredge server for it. Possibly with extra stuff thrown in -- like gold coins, or ocelots.

And you realize that whomever you sell it to will go through your hard drive looking for porn and other secrets.
I would say wipe that thing using at least DoD 5220.22-M or NISPOM 8-306. The Guttmann method would be more secure, but it would take like a week to wipe 40Gb that securely.

But, if you have nothing to hide, then there really is no point in wiping a drive clean.

Actually I was talking about the laptop. I travel back and forth between home and school now, so my desktop rig doesnt really help much.

But still, its amazing what people leave lying around....
