Announcing the latest in a series of good parties you're going to cry if you don't make it to. BBP-3: The Boston Beer Party -- Syracuse Halloween Revision.
When: The weekend of Halloween. Specifically, get in Thursday the 30th, if you can; John Hancock airport is about 10 minutes from my piece.
What: Friday: drinking and etc. Perhaps there will be some local Halloween parties; check out the fools who go downtown in costume. Saturday: lounging and drinking and etc. Later on: Costume Halloween Party of our very LS/MR own. Finishing off with boozing downtown (not in costume, unless you just want to be gay).
Who: All of you. Including Meta. We're chipping in to make sure he makes his airfare. Meta's worth $10 to me!
Where: Syracuse. My apartment. Armory Square. We can always go to Canada, too. Not really though.
Details: I have two futons and four or five couches and plenty of floor space. I have a grab bag of blankets, but you probably want to bring one just in case.
Definitely bring money for food and boozing, cause I can't sustain the nutritional requirements of 15 people for three days. We can order out and also buy lots of party food.

What are the chances of me getting across the border, if I have unpaid drinking fines in my name. I doubt I'll be flying, I'll probably get the missus to be the driver, so what are my chances of not getting caught?...How does the whole border thing work nowadays???

I was just allowed into this thread like 15 minutes ago, ask vas, so I had no idea who was going.
I'm gonna see if its a go tonite with the missus. If I attempt the stroll over the border, and get caught, anyone want to bail me out, and pay for my fines...?

Bad news for some, probably good news for most...I just checked with the missus, and driving down is a no go, unless anyone is from the maritimes, or maine, or around that area...Don't think the car will make it all the way. And the airfare down and back, is more than 1000$ us for both. Mabye next time...
