I recently aquired an old 16 guage, manufactured by Eastern Arms, sold by Sears. It is a single shot, breech break, old school, simple weapon.
I cannot find a replacement stock for it.
Any ideas?
I have a chunk of walnut, I just don't want to whittle a stock. That would suck, and be pretty cool, but I am lazy and busy.

You are probably having trouble because its a 16ga. which was much less popular over time. 20ga or even the 12ga can probably be modified to fit. In all honesty I wouldn't spend too much having one made as the value of the overall gun will probably be less than what it might cost to have it done.

Whats wrong with the current stock? I shot an old winchester with a cracked stock for years. A little epoxy can do wonders.

I had one of these in a 20ga as my first shotgun. It was lost in a fire at a hunting camp about 18 years ago unfortunately.

Actually now that i think of it you may have better luck searching for a 'Savage' stock. I think Savage was another name that same gun was sold as and what I had.

This guy looks like he would know
http://www.gun-parts.com/savagestocks/

Get one of these with your Son in the house too please:

There are gun smiths that will build a stock for you--the problem is that it will likely cost more than the gun will be worth.

Another option is to try sites like gunsamerica.com , auctionarms.com , or gunbroker.com--they have auctions and classifieds for gun parts. you might get lucky.

EDIT: Brownells, Midway Supply and Dixie gun works might be helpful too.

EDIT EDIT: Midway supply.

Get a custom fold-out pistol-grip stock, then use a conversion kit to make it fully automatic.

Dude, if you have a piece of walnut, then be a man and make the stock. Trust me, it's not really that difficult, I made a shotgun stock in wood shop when I was in middle school (this was back in the days before school shootings).

I agree. After looking up a little info on those Eastern Arms Shotguns, the most they're worth[even to collectors] is about $500. A single barrel action should not be terribly diffucult to inlet; particularly if its a boxlock. The worst thing you could do is fuck up a nice piece of walnut over a relatively meh piece of shotgun.
