not really fruit or citrus... very difficult to compare to anything, its pretty unique. the whole 'folklore-yness' behind the secret ingredient (claimed to be iron as in fe, from girders no less) adds to the difficulty...
it is widely heralded as an effective hangover cure though, which almost exposed the secret ingredient. apparently it is so effective there were suspicions that the secret ingredient was small amounts of alcohol (hair of the dog style) and pressure was put on the makers to reveal all. didnt happen though!

but ironically, love the taste of this shit
the best hangover cure i found was drinking alot of still fanta, all the sugar and water in it helped sort out the metabolism. im guessing its the same method for irn bru
