so, i got Mirc, but the pop up thingy thats supposed to auto connect to the LS irc room wont work, all i get is an error msg, and i'd rather not use the java applet cos its slow as fuck and needs a browser window.
can anyone hook me up with the right settings for mirc, ive not used the app before so be gentle.

http://www.linkswarm.com/images/vasudeva/mirc.exe is a pre-configured mIrc instance that some kind soul packaged for your convenience.
There is also this which runs in your browser and is totally sweet and will replace the java applet quite soon -- in fact, now.
